About this Wildcam

Welcome to the Poole Harbour Osprey Nest Camera! This nest is home to Blue CJ7 (female) and Blue 022 (male), who last year became the first Ospreys to breed in Southern England in almost two centuries! Join us as we sit back and enjoy watching the dramas of a new season unfold, on our brand new DOUBLE CAMERA SETUP now with SOUND INCLUDED! After a lot of hard work we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to share these two new views of the nest with you all, and we hope it will make for an even better viewing experience than previous years! You can view the landscape view camera here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKisg…

We were able to install this amazing new camera setup during the winter thanks to your incredibly generous support over the last few seasons! We are so grateful for any donations to the project (https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/p…) and to Birds of Poole Harbour charity as a whole (https://www.birdsofpooleharbour.co.uk…) and we can’t thank you all enough for your ongoing support.

IMPORTANT: While the location of this nest has been announced online, please be aware that viewing at the site is by booking only via the Birds of Poole Harbour website to ensure the safety of the nest and avoid disturbance. The nest receives constant monitoring and protection from members of our team and partners, including fantastic support from Dorset Police.
