Welcome to Climbers Run Nature Center! This live camera moves ever 10 to 30 minutes to capture Climbers Run from several different angles as it makes its way through a 113 acre nature preserve situated in the heart of Lancaster County, PA before the stream heads on its way to the Susquehanna River and eventually the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to restoration efforts made in partnership with Donegal Trout Unlimited, Climbers Run holds a rare treasure: wild brook trout, which are found only where forested buffers provide clean, cold water essential to this species survival. Climbers Run Nature Center is one of 47 nature preserves owned by the Lancaster Conservancy, and has a two story barn with classrooms that are used for citizen science, volunteer training, and outdoor and environmental education.
